Lieutenant General Dr. Qassed Mahmoud, former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Jordanian Army, revealed the outlines of the American-Israeli plan to reshape the Middle East.
Lieutenant General Qassed Mahmoud stated during a phone interview with journalist Rasha Magdy, on the “Sabah El Balad” program broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, that the current war did not start because of Gaza or the resistance, as is being promoted. Instead, it is part of a larger project linked to global balances. He added that the United States seeks to prevent the expansion of Chinese influence in the Middle East and is working to reorder the region through its tools, primarily Israel.
He affirmed that Israel does not hide its objectives and seeks a new Middle East to be reshaped according to Zionist standards, considering the aggression against Iran an extension of this project, which enjoys direct support from the Trump administration and right-wing conservatives in the West.
He pointed out that President Trump has returned in his new term with the same project he started previously, but this time with a more aggressive tone towards the region’s countries. He stressed that what is happening in Iran reveals clear intentions to redraw the region’s maps to serve American and Israeli ambitions.
